About Ayurveda

Importance of Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the ancient and traditional Indian medicine system which is best described as ‘Science of Life and Longevity’. This is because Ayurveda believes in nourishment of body via diet, nutrition and medicinal methods to cure any diseases.

Ayurveda is an interactive and educational system that teaches the patient to become responsible and self-aware. Ayurveda empowers you to have better quality of life.

The Indian subcontinent is home to a large number of medicinal plants (i.e. herbs) that are used in Ayurvedic medical treatments. Use of plants for treatment has been an ancient practice and is an important component of the Indian medicinal system. India has seen practitioners using plant-based medicines to treat various diseases and illnesses for long. In the wake of increasing lifestyle diseases, increased side effects of modern drugs, the adverse drug reactions, and cost factors, Ayurveda can provide an alternative method to promote the well-being of a mankind. M N Pharmaceuticals has applied time tested knowledge of these medicinal plants for improving the quality of life.

Traditional Indian medicine i.e. ayurveda is becoming increasingly popular in Europe, America and many other countries, with many chronic conditions responding to it well. Conventional medicine frequently relies on lifelong medication, on which patients come to depend. Many medications have side-effects, and withdrawal symptoms that, if the medications are later discontinued, can become problematic. In such circumstances, ayurveda has much to offer. Patients generally respond well to ayurvedic treatments, experiencing a reduction, and sometimes even a cessation, of their illness and symptoms. Ayurveda can help improve patients’ symptoms by reducing their cortisone and analgesic usage, thereby enhancing their quality of life.
